President's Message

We at the Greater New York Conference of Seventh-day Adventists wish to extend a warm welcome to you as visit and learn about us. We represent a portion of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the New York metropolitan area. Located in Manhasset New York, we represent 24,000 members in 165 congregations and ten schools including an academy within a territory which includes New York City, Long Island and the eight counties north of the city.

Adventist churches in the Greater New York area are part of a global fellowship of congregations with more than 15 million baptized members worldwide, representing a wide diversity of cultures, languages and ethnicities. Locally, GNYC churches share the gospel in 22 different languages and dialects with nearly every ethnicity in the world.

The mission of Greater New York Conference Adventist churches is to proclaim, to continue and to finish the work of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through the preaching, teaching, publishing and living of His everlasting gospel.
