To All Pastors and Leaders:
On Sabbath at 4:30 pm, January 16, 2010, an anointing and consecration service was held at Fr. Gethsemane SDA Church to the 1st communication group that will travel to Haiti.
An atmosphere of reverence and wonder filled the church when the anointed worship began and the life-changing presence of the Lord descended. Pastor Jean Marie Charles welcomed the congregation and opened the service with a prayer. As they introduced the purpose of the mission of the trip; Elder Richard A. Marker, and Pastor Ruben Merino announced that a very special mission trip was about to happen.
As the service continued with the introduction of the team, Elder G. Earl Knight led in the anointing and consecration prayer with pastors and elders gathered around the group.
Subsequent to the consecration prayer, Elder Richard A. Marker led a special prayer for friends and families in Haiti.
Pastor Moab Honore concluded the service with a prayer and distributed forms that will be used to connect families in Haiti.
The service was a blessing and an inspiration to all as the congregation felt the moving of the Holy Spirit uplifting and comforting our hearts with hope.
