The benches are filled to capacity as the crowd continues to come in. The lights are flashing and the cameras are ready to go. Both young and old are ready for a night of excitement. But tonight there is no game to be played.  The setting is much different from what many would expect. On Friday, November 11th the Brooklyn Seventh-day Adventist Church Men’s and Women’s Ministries Departments joined together to host its first Friday Night Live. With a re-emphasis on arming young men and women for spiritual warfare, Laos N Harmony presented through a night of singing and drama that youth can truly overcome. With Laos’s dramatization of issues pertaining to the youth many were encouraged that only through Christ can the victory be gained.

In harmony with the theme,” What God brought you through”, the program was geared towards real life practical issues that our young people are facing presently and how God can and will bring them through.  Many of the over 200+ young people were truly touched by the presentation followed by an appeal by visiting speaker pastor Gasmyr Valcin. His appeal led many of the youth to the altar for a prayer of consecration. The bright lights of the night were the young who have taken a stand for Christ and are willing to be soldiers on this battlefield.
