Dr. G. Earl Knight, GNYC conference president, accepted an invitation from the office of the Mayor for New York City, and delivered the invocation on Monday, February 10, 2014, at the State of the City address. The event was held at the LaGuardia Community College in Queens, New York and broadcasted live on several news stations.
Knight invoked Gods blessing upon the Mayor, his family, his commissioners and other staff as they lead NYC in the next few years. He also asked God to give them wisdom in making decisions that will inspire hope in all citizens of this great city. Knight also asked God to protect NYC from terror as well as our police, firefighters and other first responders.
