Celebrating 103 Years of Excellence! On June 20โ21, 2026, Greater New York Academy proudly celebrated its 103rd Graduation Exercises at the North Bronx SDA Church. Surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and supporters, 37 seniors crossed the stage, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. This year's commencement was especially meaningful as two distinguished alumni returned to inspire the graduating class. Pastor Jeremiah Davis shared the Sabbath message, "Rooted and Ready," while Mrs. Rochelle Wolberg delivered Sunday's commencement address, "Follow the Goad." There is something truly special about alumni returning to pour into the next generation, reminding students of the lasting legacy and impact of a Greater New York Academy education. The celebration was honored by the presence of Dr. Alanzo Smith, President of the Greater New York Conference; Mrs. Maria Thomas, Superintendent of Schools for the Greater New York Conference; and Mrs. Marlene Alvarez, Atlantic Union Conference Vice President for Education. The Class of 2026 also leaves behind an impressive academic legacy. Thirty-one graduates earned a New York State Regents Diploma, including six who earned a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. Additionally, six graduates earned Highest Honors, three earned High Honors, 17 earned Honors, and 11 were recognized as members of the National Honor Society. Congratulations, Class of 2026!
